Huub Meertens

Huub Meertens works at Eviden and has over 30 years of experience as an IT and data expert in both the public and private sectors. He combines strategic leadership with a passion for innovation, improving business processes, and solving complex data challenges. As a manager, he has successfully led teams of consultants and developed data and analytics services that enable organizations to transform complex data into actionable insights. He has also contributed to the implementation of new data governance ecosystems, data-related proof-of-concepts, and integrated BI solutions, leading to significant acceleration of digitalization and improved efficiency within public institutions. Additionally, Huub is actively involved in knowledge sharing and the professionalization of the IT field as a board member of the KNVI AI, Data Science & Analytics working group and as a member of the Vereniging Register Informatici (VRI). He also shares his expertise as an action learning coach at the Business School Netherlands.
